Returning with the Tide

The latest album by Patrick Ovenden

Patrick has layered vocals, guitars, fretless bass, piano, drums, harmonica, flute and Mellotron samples to evoke the feeling of an undiscovered 'Core 7' Moody Blues album recorded c. 1970.

In reality, all the songs were put together during the latter part of 2012 and are original compositions, although elements of the Moody Blues' lyrics and arrangements have been incorporated to help recreate the atmosphere.
